Mohamed Mostafa Refaie
Founder & Director of Refaie Academy and a Medical Intern at Al-Azhar University Hospitals in Cairo.
I consider myself a student of knowledge before being a teacher. I learn every day and try to transform what I learn into clear, useful knowledge that can benefit others.
Refaie Academy began with a simple belief: beneficial knowledge should not remain confined to books. One of the most meaningful things we can do with what we learn is to share it with others in a sincere, clear, and organized way.
My interests include medicine, medical education, knowledge creation, the Quran, and Tajweed. Through this journey, I hope to build something beneficial whose impact extends beyond me and remains after I am gone.

My Teaching Philosophy
Understand First, Then Memorize
I believe that memorization alone does not create a strong student of knowledge.
Good education begins with understanding why, followed by knowing how, and then allowing memorization to take its proper place.
In the content I create, I try to simplify information without stripping it of its meaning, connect details to the bigger picture, and help students explain what they have learned rather than simply repeat it.
I also believe that a teacher is not merely a source of knowledge. A teacher should be a guide who helps students become capable of learning independently.
My goal is not simply to make students remember what I teach, but to help them understand what they learn and continue learning long after the lesson ends.
